Photographic material explanation: The photos that I selected were meant to show the different characters that were the most important during the french event of May 68. The politics that I selected,(Daniel Cohn-Bendit, Charles de Gaulle, Gilles Tautin, Jacques Sauvageot, Jean-Paul Sartre and Georges Sèguy), in my point of view, were the most outstanding of all the protagonists of this historical event, so I included them in order for the viewer to understand its importance on the event.
Concepts in the image: They were posicioned in the three different colors, representing their work or the results of their prescence in this political situation. They all are influent in their own ways but I tried to use the different colors of the french flag to represent their actions. For example, the men that I posicioned in the red part of the flag, represent violence, due to the measures that they took in the movements that were happening in France. The ones in the white(as a color of hope), were placed there because of the neutrality of their actions, although they were significant in some way. The politics placed in the blue represent the pacific and conscient characters of this political event.
